Dragons Asshole
Performance by Snorre Elvin

Dragons Asshole is a performance in process and a choreographic research unfolding through cracks, hidden layers, and possible/impossible relations between body, imagination, and space. It is a subtle, somatic, musical journey that moves through and with the architecture; covering and uncovering the site as it goes.

The body takes shape through connections between the mouth and tongue and the asshole, becoming a somatic creature that shifts between dancer and musical performer, intra-acting with the space.

The choreography was originally created in a site-specific, intimate, concrete, energetic, and somewhat archaeological relationship to the collective dance studio of Danseatelier in Copenhagen. For Maison de la Danse, Snorre Elvin translates the work into new relations with the space of Festsalen at Ungdommens Hus, allowing the choreography to shape-shift through the specific textures, acoustics, and thresholds of the site.
